Gary Oldman Caricature
Did you know the legendary Gary Oldman has roots right here in Ashford? Although he only called Stanhope home for a few years, it’s more than enough for us to officially claim him as one of our own!
To celebrate our local Hollywood heavyweight, I’ve sketched this caricature of Gary as the iconic Jackson Lamb from Slow Horses. As the disgruntled MI5 agent leading the misfits of Slough House, his performance is pure genius. The writing, the grit, the drama—it’s all just damn good television. I absolutely adore the show, and it was a joy to capture such a brilliant (and local) talent.
